I have an APC Back UPS CS500 - it is just running one PC, so not overloaded. Just recently it started clicking onto battery when there was no sign of any kind of power flicker. First a click, then it would start just switching back and forth every second. It got so annoying I powered down and took it off line.
Left it for a while and then put it back on. After a week oe so the same thing started happening. I called APC tech support and they said that it probably had a faulty relay - so they swapped it out for me. Very quick RMA service - cant complain.
Except that 3 days after the new one being online it started doing the same thing. Click click - back and forth - especially annoying with the Powerchute software installed which keeps popping up error messages. Anyone else had this kind of problem?
